In this article we are going to discuss the laptop lifestyle, we are going to see if its that easy to achieve and we are going to see if its an easy life as most people believe? We are also going to answer the taboo question which is, are the laptop stylers a bunch of lazy people who should find real jobs? are they a bunch of dreamers, who will eventually end up in welfare?

Well, sit back and relax as we tackle this issue. The first thing we need to figure out is what is a laptop lifestyle? Well, a laptop lifestyle is a term used to describe people who work from their laptops, mainly the people who run online business or people who are into Affiliate Marketing, it does not necessarily cover the people who are employed by companies and are working for those companies but doing so online.

Although there are some people who are working as freelances, graphic designers or those who are working as tech support experts for big companies, those are people who are getting paid by using their skills and they don’t necessarily have to sit in an office from 9 to 5, they can just perform their duties from their computers from anywhere as long as they have internet connection.

The laptop lifestyle is very attractive, I mean the idea is that you can have the freedom to travel the world while you make money even while you sleep, another benefit is that you make your own decisions and there is no boss ordering you around or telling you what to do, how to do, and when to do it.

Now before you kiss your boss goodbye (Ok not exactly kiss 🙂 ) there some things you need to consider, one thing the guy on Youtube is not telling you, is how long it took him to start making a living out of his website or online business, and the amount of work it has taken to get to the point of living in a mansion. Now, there is a misconception about online business. For some reason, people think that you can just start a blog and make money immediately.

I have to admit that there some people who were able to become an overnight success online, but that is not the case for many, It can take months and in some cases years for a website to start making good money so, I say if it’s your dream to one day travel the world and make money online from anywhere as long as you have internet connection, just start your online business now but don’t quit your day job just yet.

So are laptop Stylers a bunch of lazy people?

The answer to this is no, the online world is a world that will keep you very busy, actually even though you could work from your laptop at the beach sipping margaritas, you are still working and there is a lot to do, if you are into affiliate marketing, you will have a lot of research to do as well as many articles and reviews to write, you will also have to be very disciplined, I mean you can’t be playing in the pool or in the sea the whole week and expect your online business to do well. To be honest, you can go through all the training there is on the internet about online business or affiliate marketing but if you don’t put in the work, nothing will happen, there is no magic formula that will help you make money online, your best shot is your self, I mean all the writing is gonna be done by you, unless of course, you have some money to invest by getting someone to do the writing for you.

There some things you need to handle personally in your business.

And even then, you will still have a lot of work to do because there is a side of your business that you have to handle personally. So NO online marketers or laptop lifestylers are not lazy people, they are working very long hours. One thing to note is that unless you are working for a company where your salary is guaranteed, online business is unpredictable.

I mean you could make lots of money in commissions and then the next month your commissions could drop depending on the products you are promoting, so its a risk you take by opting for laptop lifestyle, I would suggest making sure that your online business is doing well before moving to Hawaii or to Thailand.

The first thing you need to do is choose a niche that is evergreen, that way you will not end up with a website that promotes things that are seasonal, you can also have two or three different websites depending on how much time you have, and how much material you can create for the websites, remember its recommended you write at least 3 posts for each website a week especially if the websites are still young, but if your website is old the number can be less, so if you have 3 websites, that’s 9 articles a week.
